What this journey is about
Return to Source is a Nubian spiritual retreat in Egypt: a Temple Remembrance Pilgrimage held by Abu Sofyan, Hulu Amen Ra, and Nubian elders. Guests come as participants in a living practice of land, water, and remembrance — not to collect sites.
Each day is paced as ceremony: sacred water, temple activation, sound, and embodied practice. Six days stay with Aswan and the cruise south to Abu Simbel. Nine and twelve days continue to Luxor and close at Karnak on December 21. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.
Abu Sofyan is a Nubian healer, boatman, and yoga instructor from Aswan. Hulu Amen Ra is an initiate of Agilkia; he facilitates the spiritual practices, water ceremony, and temple activations.
How Egypt found me
Aswan received Hulu Amen Ra across from the Temple of Isis at Philae. On Agilkia, the land answered: remember me. That relationship — river days, temple practice, and time among Nubian families — is the origin of this retreat.
